Actions & Indications: 主治﹕	frequent urination or lack of control,  for treatment of flatulence and pain, frequent urination, enuresis (bed wetting), hernia, dysmenorrhea, irregular menses. due to shenyangxu (kidney yang deficient). 1.順氣止痛: 胸腹脹痛，氣逆喘急，疝氣，痛經, 月 經 不 調 。 2.溫腎散寒：治腎陽虛，小便頻數及遺尿。
Chemical ingredients: 化學成份﹕	The leaves contain evaporating oil. Its main ingredients can be classified as: hydrocarbon, ester and acidic sesquiterpenoids . The stems and roots contain linderol (borneol), sesquiterpenoids, hydrocarbon of alpha-terpinene, hydroxylindestrenolide (羥基烏藥根內酯), Also see: this study 葉含揮 發油，其主要成分為烴類 ，酯類 及酸性倍半萜。 根莖含釣 樟醇，倍半萜成分：釣 樟環氧內酯，釣 樟內酯，異 釣 樟內酯，新釣 樟內酯。單萜碳氫化合物, 羥基烏藥根內酯，烏藥烯酮，異 牻牛兒呋內酯，羥基異 牻牛兒呋內酯，表二氫異 烏藥內酯及一些大環 倍半萜類 化合物等。
Dosage: 用量﹕	3～9 g.
Samples of formulae :處方舉例﹕	for deficient and cold type of frequent urination: often combine with yi zhi ren. for stomach and lower abdomen flatulence and pain: often combine with xiang fu zi, yan hu suo. 用於下焦虛寒之小便頻數: 配 益智仁。 胃脘及小腹脹痛: 配 香 附 子、延胡索。

Toxicity & Cautions: 毒素與禁忌﹕	not to use in cases of qixu (qi deficient)  or with yinxu (yin deficient). 氣虛 或 有  陰虛者忌服。
