- For sore throats, indigestion,
stomach ulcers,
dysentery, diarrhea, diseases of urinary passages, bronchitis. .
- External use:
powdered bark mixed with hot water into pasty mass,
or mixed with oil base ointment and being

poultice for fresh wounds, boils, burns and scalds.

- Folk remedy for cancer therapy

- 喉嚨痛﹐消化不良﹐十二指腸或胃潰瘍﹐便秘﹐腹瀉﹐尿道炎﹐支氣管炎。
- 外用研細末﹐熱水調敷於創傷﹐膿瘡﹐燙傷﹐燒傷。
- 作補劑﹐添加於食物用。也可加入油膏內作外用。
- 民間作治療腫癌用。
