sheng hua tang

Name of Formula: sheng hua tang (source: Fu Qing Zhu Gynecology)

 

Application: For unable to dispel clot blood (lochiostasis) after birth with pain in the lower abdomen.

 

Composition:

dang gui 24 g,  chuan xiong 9 g,, tao ren (remove tip and skin) 6 g, he jiang (dark baked ginger) 2 g, ,

zhi gan cao 2 g.

 

Boil with water and use as tea.

 

Note after giving birth, there will be some pain or ache in the lower abdomen and the lower back. There will be some discharge of blood and dead tissue and mucus. This is normal. If it is not excessive, then it is not necessary to use sheng hua tang.

 

 

 

生化湯傅氏女科

 

治產後惡露不行,少腹疼痛。

 

 

組成﹕

 

當歸 24 克 川芎 9 克 桃仁 (去皮尖) 6克

 

炮 薑 (黑 ) 2 克 炙草 2 克

水煎服。

惡露是產後初期,下腹和腰部出 現輕微的疼痛,陰道 一些血液、壞死組織及黏液等排出物 稱 為 “惡露”。是為 正常現 象 。若“惡露”排出無異常 ,則無必要服用生化 湯 。
