ming men point DU4 命門穴 (in Enlgish and Chinese 中英文)

Location: to locate the point, let patient lie down in supine position. Ming men point  (Literally means gate of life) is on the spine, directly opposite from the navel, in the indentation of the 2nd lumber vertebra. It show a strong pain sensation when pressed with finger.

Indications: deficiency and low back pain, opisthotonos, enuresis, frequent urination, diarrhea, impotence, spermatorrhea, gonorrhea, premature ejaculation, children moaning, vaginal discharge, habitual  miscarriages, decreased energy, fatigue, dizziness, tinnitus, epilepsy, panic, hands and feet against the cold.

命門穴DU4

取穴: 採用俯臥的姿勢,命門穴位於人體的腰部,肚臍相對後面,當後正中線上,第二腰椎棘突下凹陷處。指壓時有強烈的壓痛感。
主治:虛損腰痛,脊強反折,遺尿,尿頻,泄瀉,
陽痿,遺精,白濁,早泄,小兒夜啼,赤白帶下習慣性流產,精力減退,疲勞,頭暈耳鳴,癲癇,驚恐,手足逆冷。
